Privacy
Short version: your documents stay on your phone. We cannot read them, because we never receive them.
Where your scans live
Every page you scan is saved inside this browser on this device, using its built-in storage. There is no server copy, because there is no server account.
If you clear your browser data, uninstall the app or use a different phone, the scans are gone. Export the PDFs you want to keep.
What we do not do
No sign-up, no email, no phone number, no OTP.
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels.
No watermark on anything you export, and nothing is locked behind a payment.
Sharing is always your choice
When you tap Share, your phone hands the file to the app you pick — WhatsApp, email, a portal. ScanPro does not see where it goes and keeps no record of it.
Camera and files
The camera is used only while the Scan screen is open, and the video never leaves the page. Files you upload are read in the browser to make the PDF or image, and are not sent anywhere.
Automatic edge detection loads a maths library (OpenCV) from the web the first time you use it. That request fetches code only — your image is never part of it.
When AI features arrive
A later update will read documents to name them, fill forms and check Aadhaar QR codes. Anything that can run on your device will run on your device.
If a feature genuinely needs a server, it will say so before it runs, it will ask you each time, and it will send only the page you chose — never your whole library.
Your Identity Wallet
The upcoming Wallet stores details like name, date of birth and document numbers in the same on-device storage, so it can fill forms for you. You will be able to delete it in one tap.
